A Shot in the Dark

After moving to Atlanta all alone and sitting in my feels, I turned to dating apps to make friends and explore the city. To capture this unique time in my life, I began photographing my dates, focusing on the emotions, tension, and beauty of those fleeting moments.

Surprisingly, many of my dates agreed to let me photograph them. Through my lens, I aimed to capture not just their physical appearance but the essence of our awkward moment.

As my collection grew, it showcased the diverse emotions and experiences of dating, from the excitement of a first date to the disappointment of a mismatched connection. Through my photography, I tell stories and create a space for others to see themselves and find solace in knowing they're not alone in their journey to find love and connection.
